Palais Bistro in Dresden

On our annual visit on October 10th, 2020, we were in the Palais Bistro of the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski for the second time. The Assistant Restaurant Manager Nevenko Zec welcomed us nicely, advised us optimally and served us professionally with his colleagues. The wine he suggested was exciting and we really liked the selected dishes. We can only recommend the house, the kitchen and the staff. It's always worth a visit. Go there!

Excellent, rarely experienced such gastronomic diversity. Service prudent as it always was a Kempinski. It is highly recommended, I am guaranteed to visit the bistro on my next visit to Dresden.

Very nice restaurant. We ate hamburger and it was good.

The food was very good . We had a cheese platter and a delicious onion soup. Only the prices for an Aperol, Spritz were outrageous. So I wouldn't go back.

And the best thing for me right now is the liver

Lasted almost 1 hour between sitting down and starting to eat. Totally inefficient and that for a luxury hotel. The food was good but we starved to death ... and only simple dishes ...

We ate a delicious menu there. Thanks to the nice wait staff and the kitchen team. Everything was fine.

Not recommendable. Far too expensive prices. 4 euros for 0.2 l. It was still cheap there. Unfriendly service. Snappy answers. We waited 20 minutes for 2 sundaes. These each for 9 euros. Then also with nuts, as an allergy sufferer, although there was nothing to it that these are with nuts. After that we were not served by anyone. When ordering an invoice, wait forever again. Not possible. Never again!

Not recommended, unfortunately

Unfortunately, disrespectful treatment of guests, had to wait a long time for our drinks and were then no longer served. The coffee was overpriced and more water than anything else. We will not come again.

The menu is not very big, but every dish is a poem. Snails, tartare, asparagus, ... oh the wine list doesn't have to hide. Great bistro with extremely friendly staff and quite moderate prices, especially for the more than appealing size of the portions (and we are good eaters). Another plus: VERY child-friendly.

We spent a wonderful evening in the Palais Bistro as part of the culinary hours. Particularly noteworthy is first-class service, which acted unobtrusively but nevertheless very attentively. The menu and the corresponding wines were perfectly coordinated, which we have often experienced in this form in this house. Clear recommendation for gourmets and connoisseurs. We really liked the Palais Bistro. We felt very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and attentive. French charm and light cuisine. 5 stars for you - we can only recommend the bistro and we would come back anytime.

Great location, nice service, delicious food. Everything is actually perfect. Except for the fact that the vegan menu has the same price as that of meat and fish. Less use of goods, less effort, fewer resources but the same price. It was really tasty, without question, but not really sophisticated or "WOW".

Delicious and exquisite food

The restaurant is good. Good food at reasonable prices. Polite and efficient service. A place close to the center. For me, the dishes could be more regional, but overall I have no objection.

It took like forever, even though the restaurant was quiet. So the service was really bad. Food was quite good, but the price too high... would not recommend

It' a nice place, mainly when you sit outside. The service is good however, the prices are a bit expensive.

The food was average and the prices expensive. Considering the restaurant was quiet the service was very slow. Overall there are much better options available in Dresden.

I ordered steak and salad. But the stake smelled bad and I told him to change it. Without any sorry and apology .... I changed it and it smelled too and I decided to stop eating it. All the calculations were done. Because I think I smell. And for the elegance of other Asians ~

Very nice restaurant. Delicious food, but the portions were a bit small (French style). Awesome service, friendly staffs. Reasonable up market price.

A tasteful, French cuisine with a great service, everything you need to feel good.

Food is very tasty, but, like everything else with this Kempinski, price is quite steep.
